I’m trapped in a burning forest.
All the trees around me are on fire.
It’s all hot and it hurts.
I want to get out
of this burning forest.

But the flames block the way.
I scream for help;
I scream to death;
But the fire mounts
and deafens my helpless screams.

The inferno never ends.
I see the day.
I don’t see the night.
I know when the fuel runs thin
the fire should stop.

But the pain never stops
in this burning forest.
